Bugatti
Bugatti was founded in 1909 in Molsheim, then part of Germany, by Italian-born Ettore Bugatti, son of art nouveau designer Carlo Bugatti. Renowned for marrying exquisite design with engineering brilliance, early models like the Type 35 won countless races. After a turbulent mid-century, Volkswagen revived the brand in 1998—and today Bugatti remains a maker of ultra‑luxury hypercars from its French base.
