The 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe, commonly known as the 1M, is a high-performance compact car that marked BMW's return to a smaller M model reminiscent of the original M3. Equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine producing 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 4.7 seconds. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, the sole gearbox option available.
