Ferrari 488 GTE 2016

The Ferrari 488 GTE, introduced in 2015, is the racing variant of the 488 GTB, developed to replace the 458 Italia GT2 in endurance competitions. Retaining the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from the road model, the 488 GTE was designed to comply with FIA's LM GTE class regulations. Its competitive debut took place at the 2016 24 Hours of Daytona, with teams like Scuderia Corsa and Risi Competizione participating. Throughout its career, the 488 GTE achieved significant victories, including titles in the FIA World Endurance Championship and wins in renowned races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Petit Le Mans.
